How we help

Whether you are a member of the public, a councillor, within government, a transport professional or from the media we would like to help you. We have some special pages which include what we think may be of interest.

And we would be pleased for you to contact us either for more detail or simply to discuss 20's Plenty.

Hi – I’m proposing a 20 mph limit for Ulverston, a market town in South Cumbria, to Cumbria County Council (as well as calling for pedestrianisation of part of the town centre and for South Lakeland Council to use existing powers to fine drivers sitting in vehicles with engines idling.)
    If you can help by
    – providing evidence that 20 mph cut emissions
    – countering the claim that in some places 20mph limits have increased road accidents (with no consdiseration of the reduction in deaths and other health effects due to the lowered emissions.)
    – or anything else that may help the case, I would be grateful.
There is some urgency as the matter is coming before the local Labour Party branch on Monday.
Please PM me on facebook for my phone details.
Many thanks and all good wishes – Harry Brunskill

Can you let me know how funding takes place for having this put in place? Our Parish Council has in the past tried to get funding for projects but have been turned down every time,
