Attend A Future-Focused 20mph Conference: 31 October 2019 Waltham Forest - 20’s Plenty for the 2020’s

20mph limits are spreading. 21M people in the UK live where wide area 20mph is agreed.  Experts will gather on 31st October in Waltham Forest Town Hall, London to consider the future of built up area mobility and how 20mph limits affect accessibility, risk and sustainability. Come and learn about, and contribute to, positive change.

The 10th National 20mph conference aims to predict and imagine local travel behaviours in the 2020’s. Major changes in the future mix of transport modes are predicted – from pressures on active travel, emissions, vehicle sharing and economic factors.  Technologies like e-bikes, e-scooters, speed limiters, vehicle automation and speed enforcement will be featured. Overlaid are the Vision Zero goal for no road deaths or serious injuries and the climate emergency where transport emissions must urgently be tackled.
